How to use this hero

Home faction: Temple

Melee army · Cavalry and upgrades

Choose Keandra for a Temple army built around Cavalry. She starts with Basic Offense, and her reference profile assigns both Swordsmen and Cavalry. Use infantry to hold a safe staging position; choose a cavalry route by target reach, retaliation and subsequent threats. A longer charge helps only if the stack survives to use its benefit. Compare Noble Cavalry and Sunspear Cavalry by their own abilities.

What the profile establishes

Specialty · Jouster

Cavalry: +1 growth in owned towns. Under this hero they gain +1 Speed, +1 Initiative and +20% health; Attack and Defense increase by 1 per three levels. Enemy creatures of that type lose an equivalent amount of Attack and Defense. Consider the opponent’s composition too.

Suggested army and further development

The following is our recommendation. Creatures, spells and items must actually be acquired; this does not establish current inventory.

Maintain reinforcements for this line first. Then build on the listed skills and choose offensive or defensive support for the actual opponent. The specialty’s numerical effect is explained with the connected creatures.

Skills I would build around: Basic Offense · Basic Righteousness. Match further choices to available ranks and the current army.

Army: ranges in the source profile

Counts are ranges from the cited source profile rather than fixed states for every scenario. Creature stats retain their own version labels; newer builds may change the start.

Spells and suitable equipment

The reference profile assigns no starting spell. A scenario can change the starting state.

A specialty target, conversion and tactical example are different relationships. Check conversion costs and compare individual upgrade forms on creature cards. A tactical example is not a confirmed starting army.

Detailed game plan · Keandra: a safe charge and choosing Cavalry

The following is our tactical analysis of the sourced profile. Choices depend on the actual map, learned spells and army; linked cards provide rules and references.

  1. Read the actual assigned stacks

Reference Keandra has 14–20 Swordsmen and 2–3 Cavalry, Basic Righteousness and Basic Offense. My first choice is a Temple army with available cavalry reinforcements. Check the actual map before fighting: the specialty strengthens a particular line but does not supply missing riders or a safe route to the target.

  2. Map the enemy reply before charging

First identify the destination, route and enemies able to attack after arrival. The source distinguishes the base Jousting Bonus of 5% per hex moved from the upgraded 10% version. A longer move is therefore not automatically better: compare retaliation, follow-up attacks and whether infantry can maintain contact. Do not assign upgrade abilities to the base stack.

  3. Noble for tempo, Sunspear for positive effects

Noble Cavalry has Charge!: three Focus, a three-round cooldown and +1 Speed and Initiative for friendly creatures for two rounds, without ending its turn. Choose it when this creates a useful action or reach. Sunspear Cavalry instead gains Attack when receiving a positive effect. Choose by available support, remaining Focus and the battlefield situation.

  4. Separate future recruitment from current battle strength

The specialty’s town growth and bonuses to commanded creatures are separate effects. First secure cavalry reinforcements and safe battle completion, then choose offensive or defensive development for the opponent. Against the same creature line, also consider its Attack and Defense penalty; the bonuses alone do not guarantee victory.

Roster and source scope

108 standard faction profiles, 18 per faction. The official data inventory also lists 48 campaign/scenario and 21 tutorial configurations; their full starting states and portraits are not individually established here yet. Profiles retain cited revisions or dated individual reviews. Omitted skill ranks are not guessed, and values do not automatically apply to newer builds.

Development and equipment suggestions are our analysis of the listed profile. A mission may alter the starting state; each relationship distinguishes school access, an actually learned spell and a future acquisition option.
