Olden Era: Focus planner

Arrange your own hits and ability spending. See when the first charge becomes available and whether spending it leaves enough for the next ability.

Baseline rules without hero, artifact or faction bonuses. Grove can change the basic capacity, so this model does not calculate every build.

What the model counts

Enter each strike separately. A double attack can therefore generate points twice. A ranged or Long Reach creature retains its baseline gain of 1 even when attacking in melee. Stack size does not multiply this basic gain.

This tool tracks Focus only. It determines neither movement, damage, initiative order nor whether an ability ends the unit’s turn. Read the particular ability before planning a follow-up attack.

At three charges the model pauses further gains until you spend some. It does not guess overflow points or Grove’s modified cap. Starting Focus from equipment and other modifiers must be assessed separately.

Two concrete plans

First charge: two melee-creature strikes give 4 points. One ranged strike adds 1 and taking one hit adds another 1. Six points make one charge. Your own retaliation adds nothing to this total.

A cheaper ability or waiting: after earning two charges, you can spend them on two one-charge abilities or keep them for a two-charge ability. Decide which actual action saves creatures or stops the opponent sooner. A higher price does not guarantee a better result.
