Red Dragon
How to use this creature in practice
Mobile attacks and screening across obstacles
Red Dragon can change the contact point across obstacles. Choose a free reachable landing position that threatens an important target without exposing friendly shooters.
Watch for: Base stats are not the final exchange result. Account for retaliation, current creature count, target immunity and subsequent action order.
Timing, specific abilities and the follow-up plan
Speed 9 and Initiative 12 govern different parts of the turn. Check the particular ability for alternative free attacks.
- Melee Attack: Its ordinary attack requires an adjacent enemy and can provoke retaliation. Particular abilities may alter those rules for their own strike.
- Dragonbreath Strike: Hits both the target and any creature directly behind it. Check whether an allied stack stands behind the enemy before attacking.

Abilities and limitations
Dragon
The Dragon type normally limits morale to 0–5 and luck to 0–3. Fallen Dragons can supply Necromancy.
Melee Attack
Its ordinary attack requires an adjacent enemy and can provoke retaliation. Particular abilities may alter those rules for their own strike.
Flying
Movement bypasses obstacles and traps. Flying alone grants neither a ranged attack nor damage immunity.
Dragonbreath Strike
Hits both the target and any creature directly behind it. Check whether an allied stack stands behind the enemy before attacking.
Swift Strike
The victim cannot make an ordinary retaliation against this creature’s strike, helping it attack without paying that exchange cost.
Spell Immunity IV
Spells of tiers 1–4 cannot affect this creature. Spell-tier immunity alone does not establish immunity to all Magic damage from attacks and abilities.
Disdain
Receives 25% less melee damage, 50% less Long Reach damage and 75% less ranged damage.
