Zenda

Campaign profile

How to use this hero

Home faction: Necropolis

Army command · Necropolis

Protect shooters and watch melee creatures’ facing. Flanking depends on the actual attack direction. The listed army guides planning, but a mission may change its counts.

What the profile establishes

The complete starting skill list is not established here. The specialty identifies explicitly granted abilities.

Suggested army and further development

The following is our recommendation. Creatures, spells and items must actually be acquired; this does not establish current inventory.

Build further choices around the listed skills and the needs of the current army. Choose equipment for the actual bottleneck: survival, attack effectiveness, mana or movement.

Creatures I would consider

Equipment I would compare

Compare effect, slot and acquisition conditions on the item card. A suggestion does not establish that the hero starts with it.

Campaign, availability and use

Zenda has her own Necropolis story role and is player-controlled on its second map. A portrait does not establish the statistics of any later forms.

Starting attributes, released-game class, numerical specialty and the complete starting army of this campaign profile remain under review. These examples establish specific scenario roles rather than ordinary hiring defaults.

Documented scenarios and progression conditions

The World Which Detachment Renounces

Dark Hopes initially protects Zenda and later the other acquired main heroes. Zenda’s Doubts leads to the temple and deactivation of three underground obelisks.

Read the updated defeat conditions after receiving each character. Do not assign a support task that risks a hero whose loss ends the map. Distinguish this quest’s underground obelisks from ordinary surface treasure hunting.

Army-management decisions

Protect the victory condition first

Before resolving a fight automatically, check who may be lost and whether a safe return exists. A secondary hero can still be required for progression. Compare scouting value with the risk to the whole map rather than only the support army’s price.

Track triggers and usable passages

When a quest changes passage access, inspect usable routes after each activation. The previous route may not remain usable. Further movement requires a real path in the map’s current state; a visited-object marker does not guarantee one.

Check living and undead recipients separately

Before support or attack, inspect target type and the exact spell rule. An undead army does not promise immunity to every effect. A similarly named older-game spell does not automatically transfer its recipients or exceptions to Heroes VII.

Spells and suitable equipment

This profile’s individual starting spells are not yet established. A school or recommendation below does not confirm spellbook contents.

Equipment suggestions for the plan (2)

Editorial suggestions based on sourced magic or an army plan. These are not starting inventory or guaranteed finds. Check acquisition, slot and rules on the item card.

  • Crimson ScytheSuggestion

    Adds five Might.

For a plan based on the led army’s physical attacks. Its benefit depends on your creatures and opposing defense.

  • Dwarven ShieldSuggestion

    Adds 2 Defense.

For an army exposed to attacks; compare the protection with the actual incoming damage type.

Roster and source scope

98 profiles: 89 from seven Acid Cave faction lists including Trial by Fire Fortress and bonus characters, plus 9 campaign profiles: Ivan, six other protagonists, Danan and Malwen. Documented roles and scenario objectives have separate explanations; complete campaign starting values remain under review. Governor bonuses require assignment and the relevant town area. Numerical starting attributes are still being verified.

Development and equipment suggestions are our analysis of the listed profile. A mission may alter the starting state; each relationship distinguishes school access, an actually learned spell and a future acquisition option.
