Verify an eligible Bless target first
Bless is an established starting spell. Compare creature count, base damage range and remaining actions. Adela’s specialty requires the relevant effect; do not credit it identically to a stack that lacks Bless or is ineligible for the ordinary spell.
Bless must precede a usable hit
Marksmen can benefit through further shots and Halberdiers through prepared contact. Before casting, check whether the recipient can still attack and survives until that action. Spell Power affects ordinary duration, while Water Magic mastery changes Bless’s actual form.
Diplomacy does not replace a budget
Basic Diplomacy offers another map option but does not guarantee that every guard joins. Prepare gold, army space and a role for new creatures before negotiating. Plan town reinforcements around actual availability instead of assuming a neutral gift.
Do not read Power as Bless’s direct percentage
Breastplate of Petrified Wood adds Spell Power; Charm of Mana daily recovery. More Power alone grants neither higher Water Magic mastery nor a new direct specialty percentage. Acquire Haste separately if the army needs different reach or timing.
